Margarida Waco is a Cabindian-Danish architect, writer, and educator. She is an Associate Lecturer and MA Studio Lead at the Royal College of Art in London as well as an Editorial Advisor to The Funambulist. Her work has been presented internationally, including at the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale, Palais de Tokyo and Nyansapo Afro-feminist Festival in Paris, Malmö Art Museum and Chicago Architecture Biennial. Her writings have been published in Afterall Journal, Ellipses Journal of Creative Research, Archive of Forgetfulness,, among others. She is the co-author of Informal Horizons (2019), the co-editor of The Funambulist Issue 32 “Pan-Africanism“ (2020), and “Homeplace – A Love Letter“ (2023).
