Sina is a Brussels based visual artist and PhD researcher with a special focus on critical colour practices. They include the question of various ecologies of colour and the kaleidoscopic transformations caused by the current and future chemical make-ups of landscapes and environments.

“At the intersection of colour and ecology, I look towards the adaptive colouring practices of seas, oceans, plants, birds, mountains or microalgae and many more. They are the ones who carry the signatures of a shifting climate. Their colour – as organic matter – is ever transforming with exposure to sunlight, heat and moisture and therefore asks us questions about our human relationships to (im)permanence, transformation, ecology or the notion of loss.”

Presented as part of the fifth Architektūros fondas’ forum “Colour, huh?” on 22 November 2025.
