Monika Lipšic is a curator and artist, currently in the process re-defining her creative practice, looking for means to communicate. For the last 6 or so years she was independent curator and project organizer, leading a nomadic life. In 2020 she curated artists' film festival Videograms (on the subjects of healthcare system and videoimagination); sound art festival Jauna 2019 for experimental lullabies; a group show The Future Is Certain; It's the Past Which Is Unpredictable in London Calvert Art Foundation and Houston Blaffer Art Museum, a retrospective by Slavs and Tatars in CAC, Vilnius. Prior to that Monika was curating performing arts aswell as performing and directing occasionally and working as a curator in Contemporary Art Centre Vilnius (till 2016). Right very now Monika is learning to create spaces where fiction could reside and recently started a studio practice in Sodas2123 culture complex. Monika has been living in the Vileišio 18 building since 2019 and is the enthusiastic force behind this experiment.
